Staff SW Engineer, Revolving Credit Services

As a member of the Revolving Credit Service team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end, scalable, and high-performance solutions to meet business needs. Your role will involve guiding the team through technical decisions, collaborating to propose effective solutions for complex business challenges. You will play a key part in ensuring the reliability and quality of services by maintaining comprehensive documentation, rigorous testing, robust monitoring, and proactive resolution of production issues. Additionally, you will be tasked with solving challenging problems related to concurrency, system availability, real-time event processing, resilience, and cost optimization. Your contribution to on-call rotations will be critical in maintaining the stability and performance of mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and delivering end-to-end, scalable, and high-performance solutions - Guiding the team through technical decisions and proposing effective solutions - Ensuring reliability and quality through comprehensive documentation, rigorous testing, robust monitoring, and proactive issue resolution - Solving challenging problems related to concurrency, system availability, real-time event processing, resilience, and cost optimization - Contributing to on-call rotations for maintaining system stability and performance Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience with Java - 2+ years of experience with event-driven architecture - Exposure to microservices - 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure - Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases - Understanding of infrastructure as code In addition to the minimum qualifications, desirable qualifications for this role include an AWS certificate, hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases, and strong experience with infrastructure as code.,
