Location: This position will be based in Juinagar, Navi Mumbai Role and Responsibilities: Design of assembly modules for our current and future products Utilize engineering knowledge to provide solutions to challenging design problems Source off the shelf components to be used in technical designs Create and manage Solidworks CAD models, drawings and assemblies Control drawing and model releases through an ECN process Manage and coordinate with other engineers, investigate and undertake analysis to improve the overall scope of the project. Work with a cross-functional development team to relay design and engineering intent lead a team of engineers and plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time Work with contract manufacturing partners through the DFM, DFS and DFR process to bring products from prototype to production Collaborate and work cross functionally with the global engineering team Skills and Experience: B.Tech/BE/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years related work experience CAD Modeling experience (Solidworks preferred) Good understanding of Mechanical Design Code and Standards Solid understanding of engineering principles, such as fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, materials engineering Basic understanding of sheet metal, machining and welding techniques Exposure to Structural and Vibration Analysis Ability to understand existing mechanisms and visualize improvements Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience of managing a small team of design engineers a plus.
