Job Description Job Title: STAAD Expert / Structural Engineering Consultant Location: Pune/ Remote Experience: 5 years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled STAAD Expert with in-depth knowledge of STAAD.Pro and STAAD API to guide and support our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis and design, with hands-on experience in integrating STAAD with other tools and platforms. Primary Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance on the use of STAAD.Pro and STAAD API. Support the team in automating structural analysis and design workflows. Ensure compliance with relevant design codes and standards (e.g., IS, AISC). Collaborate with developers and engineers to integrate STAAD with tools like Revit. Assist in interpreting and manipulating STAAD’s internal data structures and file formats. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to STAAD usage and integration. Required Skills: Proficiency in STAAD.Pro and STAAD API. Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles. Familiarity with design codes and standards (IS, AISC, etc.). Programming experience in C# or .NET and Python. Solid problem-solving and analytical skills. Secondary Skills (Preferred): Experience integrating STAAD with Revit or other BIM tools. Knowledge of APIs and data exchange formats (e.g., IFC, XML). Understanding of STAAD’s internal data structures and file formats. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field. 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering and software integration.
