About the role: We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Complementary Therapist to join our hospice team. You’ll provide holistic treatments to patients and families, helping to promote comfort, relaxation, and emotional well-being. Working as part of a caring multidisciplinary team, you’ll play an important role in enhancing the quality of life for those we support. We are looking for someone who will: Provide a range of complementary therapies tailored to each patient’s needs. Deliver treatments with empathy, care, and professionalism. Work closely with the care team to support patients’ physical and emotional needs. Keep clear and accurate treatment records. Maintain therapy spaces and equipment safely and efficiently. Support staff well-being with occasional therapies when appropriate. Follow hospice policies on health, safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding. Take part in ongoing training and professional development. To do the role you'll need: A recognised qualification in complementary therapy. Experience providing therapies to people receiving palliative or holistic care. Excellent communication, empathy, and organisational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience working in a hospice or similar setting is desirable along with additional training in therapies relevant to palliative care or emotional well-being.
