SSIS Integration Consultant

You will be responsible for building data crawlers to extract data from customers" data sources using available ETL platforms and troubleshooting any issues faced during data loading and processing. Additionally, you will design and build data warehouse models in columnar databases, develop data processing scripts using SQL, and optimize complex sequences of SQL queries. Your role will involve designing, building, and deploying effective SSIS packages to validate, synthesize, and transform customer data for integrated business planning and analytics. Collaborating with Solution Architects, you will understand customers" business requirements and implement them effectively. You will also perform data analysis for complex use cases using SQL and document technical specifications for cognitive applications created for customers. Taking ownership of the entire development and implementation workflow, you will participate in technical design, data requirements gathering, and make recommendations on best practices in case of inaccurate or missing data. Designing and automating the data loading and insights generation process with intelligent checks and balances for sustained value delivery will also be a key aspect of your role. In terms of requirements, you must have a very strong hands-on experience in ETL processes, proficiency in databases such as SQL Server and MySQL, and skills in languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL. Familiarity with workflows in programming concepts, experience with columnar databases, and direct customer interaction experience are also essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must-have. Desirable skills include applied Python programming, experience working with JSON and XML files, using APIs, knowledge of SAP, and supply chain fundamentals and terminology.
