About The Role
We are looking for a
Senior Software Engineer - Backend
with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in designing and building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in
Golang
and hands-on experience with
System Design, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and MySQL
. You will be responsible for designing backend services, solving complex engineering problems, and building systems that can scale with business growth.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using Golang
-
Own backend components/services end-to-end, from design and development to deployment and production support
-
Participate in system design and architecture discussions and make appropriate technology and design decisions
-
Design and implement REST APIs and distributed backend services
-
Work with MongoDB and MySQL for data modeling, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
-
Build and maintain search and indexing solutions using Elasticsearch
-
Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka
-
Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and production issues
-
Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code
-
Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
-
Collaborate with Product, Frontend, Data, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams
-
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving the team's engineering standards
-
Take ownership of technical problems and drive them to resolution
