The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, advising healthcare professionals on drug selection and usage, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing patient outcomes through safe and effective medication use. Key Responsibilities: Medication Management: Prepare, dispense, and distribute medications accurately and efficiently to inpatients and outpatients. Clinical Support: Provide drug information and advice to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff on the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications. Patient Care: Participate in patient care rounds and contribute to individualized treatment plans, particularly for patients with complex medication regimens. Inventory Control: Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and ensure proper storage and handling. Monitor for expired or low-stock medications. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, local and national regulatory guidelines. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions, drug usage, and adverse drug reactions.
