SREOps Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a hands-on SREOps Engineer with 5–8 years of experience and a strong grounding in Site Reliability Engineering and Incident

Management. You will investigate production issues across a distributed application stack, correlate Dynatrace signals across technology

layers, and drive evidence-based root-cause analysis through to remediation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take ownership of production incidents from alert to closure: establish timelines, lead deep-dive RCA discussions, coordinate teams,

document findings, and track corrective actions to completion.

• Correlate Dynatrace metrics, error logs and traces across services; write DQL queries to retrieve deeper diagnostic data and validate root-

cause hypotheses.

• Trace transaction flows across Apache Flink, Kafka, Apollo GraphQL, MongoDB, JBoss/Spring Boot, Kubernetes and Azure; identify failure

points, bottlenecks and contributing factors.

• Troubleshoot Java/J2EE applications, JVM garbage collection and memory behaviour, stream processing, data compression, Kafka lag, and

MongoDB query plans and index performance.

• Work closely with the DevOps Lead to understand deployments, configuration, releases, container resource limits and autoscaling. Relate

transaction throughput to capacity models and Kubernetes pod sizing/tuning.

• Build trusted relationships with Product Engineering and monitoring teams; explain findings clearly, challenge assumptions constructively,

and drive reliability improvements with strong ownership.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5–8 years in production engineering, SRE, application support or performance engineering, with practical knowledge of SRE principles,

SLIs/SLOs, incident response, problem management and RCA.

• Strong Java/J2EE, Spring Boot and JVM troubleshooting skills, including GC log/trace analysis.

• Hands-on Dynatrace experience and ability to write DQL; confidence analysing and correlating logs, metrics and traces.

• Working knowledge of Apache Flink, Kafka, MongoDB indexing/query analysis, Apollo GraphQL, JBoss, Kubernetes and Azure.

• Understanding of distributed systems, throughput/latency, capacity modelling and container resource tuning; strong analytical thinking,

communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: ₹1,529,000.00 - ₹3,040,000.00 per year
