SRE-2 (Azure)

You will be responsible for the role of SRE (System Engineer) at PhonePe Group. Your main responsibilities will include: - Administering Linux/Unix systems and networking - Managing MySQL databases - Working on private/public cloud environments - Participating in on-call rotations for production support - Building and maintaining infrastructure automation using SaltStack or equivalent - Collaborating with engineering for high availability and scalability - Developing tooling and scripts, with a preference for Perl/Golang For this role, you must have the following skills: - Linux/Unix system administration - Linux networking (IP, iptables, IPSec) - Basic scripting skills, with a preference for Perl/Golang - Experience with cloud services (private/public) - Understanding of IT operations and 24x7 systems Additionally, nice-to-have skills include: - KVM/QEMU virtualization - DCOS (Mesos & Mesos frameworks) - Aerospike (NoSQL) - Galera Clustering - OpenBSD exposure - Data center operations (occasionally required) PhonePe Group provides various employee benefits for full-time roles, including medical, critical illness, accidental & life insurance.
