Sr. Tax Accountant (US Operations)

Desired Skills:

We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience preparing U.S. Individual income tax returns(Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR).

The individual will ensure that all tax documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with federal, state, and local tax laws. This role requires extensive experience with individual tax forms and a deep understanding of individual tax regulation.

Job Description:

1. Prepare and analyze U.S. individual income tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR, for CPA firm clients, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and applicable state tax regulations.

2. Act as a preparer and quality-control extension of U.S.-based CPA firms, adhering to firm-specific review checklists, documentation standards, and engagement protocols.

3. Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies in tax returns and supporting workpapers in coordination with U.S. CPA firm reviewers and managers.

4. Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. individual tax return preparation, with a primary focus on Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR.

5. Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Pro-connect, ProSystem, Lacerte, UltraTax, Intuit software(s), CCH, Drake) and other relevant tools.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with U.S.-based CPA partners, managers, and reviewers.

7. Ability to manage strict deadlines, and perform under peak-season pressure.

Computer Proficiency & Specifications: Sound knowledge of MS Office, mainly MS Excel and Outlook.

Shift: Day Shift

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month

Experience:
