Sr. Software Engineer - Mechatronics

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing robot applications for clean room robotics. You will need to quickly learn and adapt to the Kawasaki proprietary system and language. Working on hardware, you will collaborate with peer/lead engineers to troubleshoot and resolve reported software bugs and issues. Moreover, you will interact with external customers to support and develop software specifications, providing effective solutions. To excel in this role, you should have 4 to 6 years of experience in software development and programming using languages such as C, C++, Python, or C#. A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with emphasis on Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or Electronics & Communication Engineering is preferred. Your passion for mechatronic systems and excellent written and verbal communication skills will be key assets. Being proactive, collaborative, and having a positive attitude is essential. You should possess the ability to work with integrity, professional ethics, and demonstrate persistence and creativity in problem-solving. This is a full-time, permanent position with day and morning shifts.
