Sr. Software Engineer - Embedded Systems

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, reviewing, and maintaining embedded software products. This includes designing, coding, testing, and maintaining embedded software/firmware for the next generation of electrical connected products. You will also be developing low-level drivers, collaborating with hardware components, integrating software/firmware with hardware components, sensors, and peripherals, and optimizing performance, reliability, and resource utilization. Additionally, you will be implementing and optimizing communication protocols, fixing software and hardware issues, developing test plans, optimizing code and algorithms, and improving system performance and response times. Documentation tasks will include developing and upholding various documentation such as code comments, user guides, and design materials. Security and safety considerations, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous learning are also key aspects of this role. To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, along with 5-8 years of experience in embedded firmware/software development using Embedded C, C++, RTOS, or Linux. Familiarity with multi-threading concepts, coding standards, Agile methodologies, and good analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
