We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle DBA / Architect with strong expertise in managing mission-critical banking database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Oracle RAC and Data Guard / Active Data Guard environments.
• Ensure high availability and minimal downtime for critical banking databases.
• Perform advanced SQL tuning, database performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery using Oracle RMAN.
• Handle Oracle database migrations, upgrades, patching, and security.
• Manage Oracle ASM, database encryption (TDE), and access controls.
• Monitor database performance using OEM, AWR, and ADDM.
• Work closely with core banking application teams and infrastructure teams.

Mandatory Skills

1. Oracle DBA / Architect:

   10+ years of core experience.

2. Banking Domain:

   Minimum 5+ years of direct commercial banking or financial services database experience.

3. Oracle RAC:

   Expert-level hands-on implementation and troubleshooting.

4. Oracle Data Guard / Active Data Guard:

   Strong high-availability and disaster recovery experience.

5. Oracle ASM:

   Advanced storage management expertise.

6. Oracle RMAN:

   Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.

7. Oracle 19c / 23c:

   Database administration, upgrades, and migration.

8. Performance Tuning:

   SQL optimization, AWR, ADDM, OEM.

9. Database Security:

   TDE, encryption, access management, and banking compliance.

10. Relocation:

    Must be willing to work permanently on-site in Tripoli, Libya.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE or other core banking platforms.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) / Oracle Certified Master (OCM).
• Experience handling high-volume banking transactions and zero-downtime infrastructure.
• Strong technical leadership and critical incident management.
