Sr Mgr Test Engineering

**Job Description** You will be a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager at Motorola Solutions, leading a dedicated QA team to ensure the highest standards of quality for our products. Collaborating with development, product management, and cross-functional teams, you will embed quality throughout the product lifecycle and drive continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - **Leadership & Team Management:** - Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team operations to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development. - Forecast and allocate QA resources, including personnel, environments, and tools, to meet project deadlines. - **Strategy & Process Improvement:** - Develop and own the master test strategy, quality standards, and QA processes. - Establish quality gates throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and lead root cause analysis for quality issues. - Stay updated with industry trends to enhance the team's tools and methodologies. - **Test Planning & Execution:** - Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans for manual and automated testing. - Perform risk assessments and prioritize critical user flows and compliance requirements. - Ensure product releases meet defined quality criteria based on KPIs and risk analysis. - **Technical & Environment Management:** - Manage QA test environments and collaborate with infrastructure teams for issue resolution. - Evaluate and optimize QA tools for automation, performance, and test management. - **Collaboration & Reporting:** - Work with product, engineering, and support teams to integrate quality standards. - Define key quality metrics and provide regular reports on testing progress and defect trends. - Lead critical meetings for defect triage and release decisions. **Qualification Required** - **Basic Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in managing high-performing QA teams. - In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies in Agile/Scrum environments. - Hands-on experience with mobile test automation frameworks and scripting. - Proficiency in test management and defect tracking systems. - Experience with performance, load, and security testing. - Linux systems administration skills. - Comprehensive experience in mobile application QA. - Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills. - **Preferred Skills & Qualifications:** - Experience in cloud environments and CI/CD tools. - Knowledge of mobile performance profiling tools and security testing. - Understanding of quality assurance compliance standards.
