Sr. Manager / AGM Engineering Stores

Role & responsibilities

• Manage Engineering Stores operations for Greenfield Pharmaceutical Project construction and commissioning activities.
• Handle receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, and issuance of engineering materials, equipment, and project assets.
• Maintain inventory records of major machinery, utilities equipment, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, HVAC, and piping materials.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and Site teams for material planning and availability.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of critical equipment and machinery received at the project site to avoid damage, deterioration, or loss.
• Manage inward and outward movement of high-value capital equipment and project materials.
• Monitor asset tracking, tagging, asset register maintenance, and fixed asset management.
• Conduct regular physical inventory verification and reconciliation with ERP/SAP records.
• Maintain accurate documentation for GRN, material receipts, issuance records, stock transfers, and material return notes.
• Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and logistics teams for timely unloading and storage of project materials.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory practices and ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and company procedures.
• Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and surplus inventory and provide recommendations for effective utilization.
• Support construction, installation, commissioning, and qualification teams with timely material availability

Preferred candidate profile

• Male candidate preferred due to extensive site coordination and material handling activities at project locations.
• Must have hands-on experience in Greenfield Pharmaceutical Projects from project execution, construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Candidates should possess pure Engineering Stores experience and should have managed engineering materials, project equipment, utilities, and capital assets.
• Experience handling large-scale machinery, process equipment, utility systems, HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentation materials is mandatory.
• Candidates with a background in Pharmaceutical, API, Formulation, Biotech, or Life Sciences manufacturing projects will be preferred.
• Should have experience in asset tracking, asset tagging, fixed asset register maintenance, and inventory control of project equipment.
• Must be familiar with material receipt, storage, preservation, issuance, and inventory reconciliation processes during Greenfield project execution.
