1) Recruitment & Workforce Planning - To manage manpower on roll/ contract to meet production needs. Liaise with recruitment agencies and ITIs for staff/ Optrs supply. Oversee onboarding, induction, and deployment at the shop floor/ Office. 2) Statutory Compliance & Legal - Ensure compliance with labor laws – Factories Act, ESIC, PF, Gratuity, Bonus, etc. Maintain statutory registers and handle inspections from labor authorities. Coordinate with consultants for timely filing of returns and remittances. 3) Time Office & Attendance Management - Maintain and monitor biometric attendance, shift scheduling, and leave records. Prepare and to initially verify data for payroll processing. To record absenteeism, Leave Register and overtime data/ calculations. 4) Payroll & Benefits Administration - Collate inputs for payroll and coordinate with accounts for processing. Prepare and maintain data w.r.t salary slips, bonus, gratuity, and final settlements. Administer employees/ workers insurance. 5) Training & Development - Identify training needs across departments; schedule internal/external training. Prepare training calendar for the year. To assist in conducting induction programs and statutory training (e.g., safety, fire). Maintain training calendars and feedback records. 6) Employee Relations & Welfare - Address grievances and ensure harmonious employee-management relations. Assist in disciplinary actions, show cause notices, and domestic inquiries. 7) Performance Management - Coordinate the annual appraisal process. Track probation evaluations and performance improvement plans. Maintain KRAs, performance records, and increment data. 8) Audits - ISO Documentation.
