Duration / Location Full Time / Ahmedabad Work Hours Reporting Time: 9.15am, Hours: 9:30 am to 6.30 pm, Monday to Saturday Position Sr.Design Engineer Primary Role Design, analyze, and coordinate the electrical aspects of solar power projects Responsibilities It should be ready for field visits. Conduct site surveys before plant design and layout are finalized. Projects include Residential, Commercial and Ground Mount utility. DC & AC side designing which includes design & selection, calculating the rating of the switchgear and protection required in the system, cable sizing, earthing calculations, etc. Analyzing the existing system configuration and selecting a proper evacuation. DC and AC side designing of solar rooftop PV projects, which include the stringing calculations module selection, inverter range, etc. It should be coordinated with the project handling team. Create electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computecomputer-aided - aided design (CAD) software. Shadow analysis and Designing LT and HT aspects of the Solar Plant and Create BOQ and BOM and Be able to seamlessly integrate the electrical, mechanical, and civil aspects of the Solar Power Plant Review specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives. and Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance. Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoringInteract with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team.
