Sr Cybersecurity Engineer

Role Overview: As a Sr Cybersecurity Engineer at the organization, you will play a crucial role in the Cybersecurity Engineering team within the Information Security department. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring the secure operation of the global IT infrastructure at IQVIA by operating and maintaining various security safeguards. You will collaborate with the IT community and business teams globally to contribute towards the ongoing IQVIA Global Information Security program. Additionally, you will be instrumental in the Cyber Fusion Center work stream by implementing advanced technologies to protect information systems and data assets from potential threats. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and enhance cybersecurity systems at IQVIA - Configure, troubleshoot, and manage security infrastructure effectively - Evaluate tools, develop use cases, and assess the effectiveness of new tools and technologies to address identified use cases - Collaborate with vendors on projects and enhancements to current security controls - Lead the initiation, execution, and completion of project plans - Document and upkeep designs for security controls - Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and controls Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of professional experience in Information Security, IT Systems, Network Administration, or Engineering - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology - Hands-on experience in maintaining Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools within large organizations (mandatory) - Knowledge and experience in EDR, endpoint security, automation, scripting, e-mail security, network security, DLP, SOAR, CTI, CASB, CSPM, CWPP - Familiarity with information security concepts and best practices, with the ability to apply these concepts in a business setting - Proven track record of successful collaboration in large and complex global organizations - Certifications in the information security domain would be highly beneficial - Understanding of cloud architecture and security, particularly in AWS and Azure, is desirable (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.),
