About the Role We are looking for a passionate cricket enthusiast who can create engaging short-form video content for social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels. The ideal candidate will narrate and appear on camera to deliver compelling cricket stories, player insights, match analyses, and trending news in an energetic and relatable style. This role combines storytelling, match analysis, and on-camera narration — perfect for someone who lives and breathes cricket and knows how to connect with online audiences. Key Responsibilities Research and analyse ongoing and past cricket matches, player performances, and key moments. Identify trending topics, match highlights, and cricket stories worth narrating. Write or refine short, engaging scripts around cricket stories, insights, and news. Record and present these scripts on camera (self-shot) for social media reels. Ensure narration is natural, expressive, and appealing to a cricket-loving audience. Collaborate with the content and editing team to enhance final video output. Stay updated with the latest cricket events, tournaments, and player developments. Requirements Strong passion and knowledge of cricket — rules, formats, teams, and player stats. Confident on-camera presence with clear and engaging communication skills. Ability to break down complex match moments or statistics into simple, interesting narratives. Ability to write quick, punchy scripts. Understanding of Instagram, YouTube, and social media algorithms. Familiarity with social media trends, particularly short-form video content. Basic understanding of video recording using a phone or camera (lighting, framing, sound). Creative storytelling skills and the ability to connect emotionally with viewers. Prior experience in cricket content creation, sports media, or commentary is a plus. Based in Bangalore — must be available to come to office in HSR layout at least 3 days per week. Bonus Skills Video editing knowledge (basic tools like CapCut, VN, or Premiere Pro). A sense of humour or unique presentation style that resonates with sports fans.
