spot uv machine operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Spot UV coating machine & foiling machine set-up, operation, and maintenance.
• Read and interpret job orders / design layouts to determine required machine settings.
• Ensure quality standards in UV coating and foiling (registration, sharpness, shine, adhesion).
• Handle substrates such as paperboard, laminated sheets, and packaging materials.
• Monitor production runs, adjust machine settings for consistent results.
• Perform routine maintenance & cleaning of machines to avoid downtime.
• Coordinate with production & QC team for timely delivery of jobs.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the work area.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience operating Spot UV and/or Foiling machines in a printing & packaging press.
• Good knowledge of machine adjustments, pressure, temperature, and foil types.
• Ability to troubleshoot common machine and process issues.
• Understanding of quality standards in printing & finishing.
• Physically fit to handle long production shifts.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Printing Technology or related field (preferred).
• Hands-on experience in operating finishing machines (Spot UV, Foiling, Lamination).
