Job Title: Senior Mechatronics Engineer (Mechanical + Electrical Design) Location: Bengaluru, India Experience: 4 – 5 Years Industry: Industrial Automation / Machine Vision / Pharma Tech Salary : INR 1,200,000 to INR 1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience About Spookfish Spookfish doesn't just build machines; we build "Intelligent Vision Machines." Our systems integrate high-speed AI, optics, and precision hardware to ensure quality for global FMCG and Pharmaceutical giants. Because our hardware and software are deeply intertwined, we are looking for a designer who can bridge the gap between mechanical structure and electrical architecture. The Role: The Bridge Between Form & Function As a Mechatronics Engineer at Spookfish, you will be the "single source of truth" for the physical machine. You won't just design the metal frame; you will also map out the electrical nervous system that powers it. You are the person who ensures the camera has the right mount, the servo has the right torque, and the control panel is wired for maximum reliability. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Modeling (60%): Lead the 3D CAD design (Inventor) of custom machinery, focusing on high-speed motion, vibration damping, and pharmaceutical-grade material selection. Electrical Architecture (40%): Design comprehensive electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. This includes power distribution (AC/DC), sensor integration, and PLC/PC-based control panel layouts. Integrated Design: Use tools like SolidWorks Electrical (or similar) to route cables within 3D models, ensuring no interference between moving parts and wiring harnesses. Vision Integration: Design specialized enclosures for cameras and strobe lighting, managing thermal heat dissipation and precise optical alignment. Vendor & Shop-Floor Management: Oversee the fabrication of mechanical parts and the assembly of electrical panels, ensuring the final build matches your digital twin. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 4-5 years in Special Purpose Machinery (SPM) or Robotics . Mechanical Mastery: Expert-level 3D CAD (SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor). Deep knowledge of pneumatics, actuators, and precision machining. Electrical Fluency: Ability to create professional wiring schematics and select appropriate electrical components (MCBs, SMPS, Relays, VFDs, and I/O modules). The "Mechatronics" Mindset: You understand how electrical noise impacts sensitive sensors and how mechanical heat affects electronics. Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Why Spookfish? True Ownership: You own the machine from the first sketch to the final power-on. High-Speed Challenges: Work on systems that process thousands of units per minute. Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborate directly with AI researchers and software architects in a flat, fast-moving hierarchy. How to Apply Ready to build the next generation of intelligent machines? Send a portfolio of machines you’ve designed (both mechanical and electrical) to jobs@spookfish.vision .
