Key Responsibilities 1. GST Returns Filing Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR 6, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C . Monthly GST compliance for our clients. Ensure timely submission to avoid interest and penalties. 2. Reconciliation Activities Monthly 2A/2B vs books reconciliation. Reconciliation of GSTR-1 vs GSTR-3B, books vs portal. Vendor follow-ups for ITC mismatches and delayed filings. 3. Books Review Verification of sales, purchase, expense entries with proper GST classification. Checking tax applicability (IGST/CGST/SGST/RCM). Review of HSN/SAC coding and rate mapping. 4. GST Payments & RCM Compliance Preparing GST workings for payment of taxes. Ensuring RCM applicability and booking of RCM liabilities. Maintenance of challan records and offsets. 5. GST Audits & Annual Returns Assist in preparation of GST audit files, reconciliations, financial summaries. Coordination with statutory auditors and client teams for annual return finalisation 6. GST Notices & Department Correspondence Initial drafting of replies to GST notices. Coordination with seniors for assessments, hearings, and departmental communication. Tracking open notices and ensuring timely closure. 7. Client Coordination & Reporting Regular follow-up with clients for data, clarifications, and approvals. Maintaining compliance trackers across clients. Providing MIS updates to management on pending and completed tasks. 8. Process & Data Management Ensure accuracy and completeness of client data. Maintain digital filing, documentation, and audit-ready records Follow internal SOPs of Spiraea for quality and consistency. Skills & Competencies Required Strong knowledge of GST law, rules, and recent amendments. Hands-on experience in GST return filing and reconciliations.
