We are currently seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead our quality assurance team and play a pivotal role in managing and developing automated tests for our flagship Kubernetes management platform. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Design and develop automated tests for our distributed platform's core capabilities and features, ensuring high quality and reliability. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive testing strategy and continuous improvement. Create and maintain high-quality test cases for new features and enhancements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Leverage your extensive experience to develop automation tests for both API and UI components. Demonstrate proficiency in Linux-based operating systems and provide expertise in troubleshooting and debugging. Utilize hands-on experience with cloud technologies, containers, and Kubernetes (K8s) to enhance testing processes. Highly preferred: Lead the development of automation tests using the Robot Automation Framework or Golang Based Test Framework like Ginkgo/Go-dog. Champion best practices and methodologies in testing to maintain high standards of quality. Collaborate with management to set strategic goals for the automation team and track progress toward those goals. Minimum Qualifications: 8+ years of IT experience, showcasing your in-depth expertise in automation and quality assurance. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of QA Engineers. Extensive experience in developing automation tests for both API and UI (a must-have). Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems (a must-have). Strong ability to create and maintain high-quality test cases for new features. Demonstrated hands-on experience with cloud technologies, containers, and Kubernetes (K8s) (a must-have). Highly preferred: Proficiency in leading the development of automation tests using the Robot Automation Framework or Golang Based Test Framework like Ginkgo/Go-dog.
