Talent Sourcers play a key role in our clients’ success by partnering with Hiring Managers and Recruiters and developing effective, consultative, professional relationships with them. Through asking the right questions to ensure a detailed understanding of the client and each role, and by leveraging data, historic hiring trends, and market analysis, Talent Sourcers develop bespoke sourcing strategies and then use a range of tools and techniques to find the best talent in the market. Talent Sourcers are brand ambassadors for our clients, bringing each opportunity to life with candidates in a compelling and authentic way to ensure they are qualified, interested, and engaged before being presented to the Hiring Manager. A Lead Sourcing Specialist supports clients in hiring specialist and niche talent and will work on some of the more complex hiring needs that require strong business partnering skills and innovative approaches to finding and engaging with in-demand candidates.
1. Act as a Trusted Advisor: Build strong partnerships with recruiters and hiring managers, provide talent intelligence and market insights, understand business requirements, and recommend effective recruitment strategies and solutions.
2. Develop Effective Sourcing Strategies: Leverage multiple sourcing channels, professional networks, social media, and headhunting techniques to attract high-calibre talent, including passive candidates and niche skill sets.
3. Candidate Assessment & Shortlisting: Conduct consultative candidate discussions to assess skills, experience, career aspirations, and motivations, and present high-quality, relevant shortlists with clear recommendations to hiring managers.
4. Drive Recruitment Strategy & Delivery: Monitor sourcing performance and recruitment data, gather feedback, identify hiring challenges, and recommend improvements such as alternative talent pools, locations, or job descriptions while ensuring diverse and unbiased hiring practices.
5. Champion Candidate Experience: Maintain transparent and timely communication, provide regular recruitment updates, build lasting candidate relationships, and deliver a positive candidate experience that strengthens the client’s employer brand.
1. Proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and specialist sourcing, including engaging active and passive candidates for niche roles.
2. Ability to partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand business requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.
3. Strong stakeholder management, communication, consulting, and influencing skills, with expertise in candidate assessment, shortlisting, and hiring recommendations.
4. Ability to analyse talent market trends and recruitment data, build long-term talent pipelines, and manage multiple vacancies within agreed timelines.
5. Proficiency in ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruitment reporting tools, with a strong focus on candidate experience, relationship management, and fair, unbiased hiring practices.
