Specialist Java API AWS Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Java API AWS Engineer with strong backend development skills and hands-on experience in Java, API development, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications.

Candidates must currently be based in Delhi NCR, be available to work on-site in Gurugram, and have previous experience working with a multinational company (MNC).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
• Design, develop, and optimise REST APIs and backend services.
• Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and Amazon Bedrock.
• Work with DynamoDB and other database technologies to design and optimise queries and data models.
• Implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud application architectures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5–7 years of backend software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and API development.
• Practical experience with AWS services, particularly S3, Lambda, and Amazon Bedrock.
• Good knowledge of DynamoDB or other database technologies.
• Understanding of microservices, serverless architecture, and cloud-based application development.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous MNC experience is mandatory.
• Must be based in Delhi NCR and willing to work on-site in Gurugram.

Preferred Skills

• Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• AWS certifications.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small technical initiatives.
