Job Description Job Title : MSSQL Database Administrator Location : Kopar Khairane, Navi Mumbai Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator with at least 3 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and ensuring the readiness of our database servers, while supporting a growing development team with data modeling, performance tuning, and Azure cloud integration. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain production and development SQL databases, including backup, recovery, and patching. Manage high-availability clusters, configuring mirroring, log shipping, replication, and Always On. Oversee Azure SQL Database instances, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Implement and manage Azure SQL Data Sync and Azure SQL Managed Instance. Optimize and monitor performance for both on-premises and Azure SQL databases. Support database migration to Azure, including assessment, planning, and execution. Collaborate with development teams for query and schema optimization. Conduct routine database maintenance, such as index optimization and integrity checks. Participate in on-call rotations, including shifts, late evenings, and weekends as necessary. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required Skills Minimum of 4 PLUS years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator. Hands-on experience with SQL Server high-availability and disaster recovery solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
