Interior Designer (Modular) – Spacewood Bhubaneswar Spacewood Bhubaneswar is looking for a passionate Interior Designer (Modular) to design smart, stylish, and highly functional modular interiors for modern homes, with a strong focus on kitchens, wardrobes, and full home modular solutions. The role demands a balanced mix of creativity, technical understanding of modular systems, and strong client-handling skills to deliver factory-finished, design-led interiors that align with Spacewood’s national brand standards. Key Responsibilities Meet clients to understand lifestyle, requirements, budgets, and site conditions, and translate them into modular design concepts for kitchens, wardrobes, and full home interiors. Create detailed 2D/3D layouts, mood boards, and design presentations with optimal space planning, ergonomics, and workflow, especially for kitchens and storage-heavy areas. Specify modules, finishes, colours, hardware, and accessories from Spacewood’s product range and ensure feasibility with standard modular sizes and factory production norms. Coordinate site measurements, validate drawings with production/technical teams, and ensure accurate handover for execution and installation. Work closely with project, sales, and installation teams to ensure timely completion, design adherence, and quality standards at site. Conduct client presentations, clarify technical details, handle design revisions, and guide clients in making informed choices within their budget and timelines. Maintain design documentation, BOQs, and drawing records in an organized and process-driven manner. Stay updated on modular trends, finishes, and space-saving solutions to keep designs current and competitive. Required Skills & Qualifications Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. 1–3+ years of experience in residential interiors; prior exposure to modular kitchens/wardrobes or full home modular projects preferred. Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar 2D/3D tools). Good understanding of space planning, modular sizing, ergonomics, and basic materials (boards, shutters, hardware, finishes). Excellent communication and client interaction skills, with the ability to explain designs and technical details clearly. Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working with timelines and multiple projects simultaneously.
