Role & responsibilities .Product Structure Engineer will be responsible for Creating and maintaining Master BOMs / Product Structure which includes. .Review and Authorize Engineering changes. .Work with cross functional team to implement changes on Master BOMs. .Concept of Master BoM, MFG BOM and Engineering BOM. .Good in Engineering Change Process and good understanding on Implementation of changes and its impact on Mfg. .Assembly BoM Generation in ERP systems like SAP. .Understanding on MRP, Workorders/Job Orders and Assembly shop planning. . Good communication, logical thinking, interpersonal skills and Learning attitude. . Interpret technical drawings and utilize CAD models to inspect precision parts efficiently, applying advanced metrology practices and GD&T principles. Key Responsibilities: Apply ASME Y14.5 standards and metrology best-known methods (BKMs) Design and implement methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating precision parts using 2D and 3D part prints Utilize part datum structures for programming parts efficiently, using simulation mode and STEP CAD files to minimize post-program edits Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Metrology, First Article Inspection Engineering, and Materials teams Technical Knowledge Required: CMM Programming: Proficiency in Zeiss Calypso software (preferably version 7.2 or higher), including offline programming and simulation GD&T: Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 standards for correct tolerance interpretation and application Metrology: Hands-on experience with measuring tools, inspection strategies, and best-known methods CAD Interpretation: Ability to read and work with 2D/3D part drawings and STEP files Datum Structures: Defining and using datum features for accurate part alignment and measurement Special Processes: Knowledge of special process testing and inspection (e.g., surface treatment, coating/plating inspection) is desirable but optional Software Tools: Familiarity with Teamcenter, SAP, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. Soft Skills & Tools: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot measurement issues and optimize inspection routines Ability to document inspection plans, results, and program logic clearly Good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with design, manufacturing, and quality teams Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team goals Certifications (Preferred): GD&T Certification (ASME Y14.5) Zeiss Calypso CMM Programming Certification AUKOM Certification (Highly preferred) Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
