Soldering Technician

You will be responsible for performing soldering tasks on electronic components and circuit boards, ensuring the quality and reliability of solder joints through inspection and testing. In case of defective components and boards, your role will involve repairing and reworking them. It is essential to follow detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, processes, and procedures meticulously. Maintaining and calibrating soldering equipment such as soldering irons, hot air guns, solder pots, and soldering stations will be part of your daily tasks to ensure they are in proper working condition. Collaboration with the production team and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues is crucial for the smooth operation. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating technical documentation related to soldering processes and maintaining quality control records, inspection reports, and material usage logs. Your role will also involve inventory management of electronic equipment and procurement activities. You should have the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, possess strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and proficiency in using soldering tools, equipment, and techniques. Other attributes required for this role include complete ownership and accountability of assigned tasks, collaboration with the team when necessary, and a passion for self-growth and mental fitness. This is a part-time, contractual/temporary, freelance position based in Bangalore, Karnataka. The contract length is 3 months, and the expected start date is 02/06/2025. A Diploma is required for education, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in soldering is necessary. The work location is in person during day shifts.
