Software Wlan Host -Engineer Senior

You will be joining the WIFI Host driver team at Qualcomm India Private Limited, focusing on tasks related to WIFI Standard protocols WIFI7/WIFI8. Your responsibilities will include working on wireless drivers, hostapd/wpa_supplicant, protocols, and various features within our wireless access point solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in software feature development using C/C++ programming languages. - Strong understanding of Linux Kernel internals with experience in low-level kernel programming like writing/modifying device drivers is preferred. - Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ARP, and DHCP. - Good knowledge of Linux network stack and any prior experience with wireless LAN (WiFi) device drivers will be advantageous. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience or a PhD with 1+ year of experience in the same field will be considered. - Minimum of 2 years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python is required.
