Software QA Tester — Web Application & WhatsApp Integration

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software QA Tester to test our web application, QR-code workflows and WhatsApp integration. You will work closely with our development team to identify defects, verify fixes and help ensure a reliable customer experience.

• Test the complete customer journey, from QR-code scanning to the intended emergency-contact workflow.
• Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, compatibility and usability testing.
• Test across different browsers, smartphones and screen sizes.
• Identify, document and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and screenshots.
• Test error handling, invalid inputs, network interruptions and repeated scans.
• Perform basic API testing using Postman.
• Retest resolved defects and maintain test documentation.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate issues and validate releases.
• Report testing progress, risks and unresolved defects.

Required skills

• Understanding of manual software testing and the software testing life cycle.
• Ability to write test cases and detailed bug reports.
• Experience testing web applications.
• Strong logical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of API testing; Postman experience is desirable.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to learn the product and take ownership of testing activities.

Good to have

• Experience testing WhatsApp or other third-party integrations.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Exposure to Jira, Trello or similar bug-tracking tools.
• Basic automation testing knowledge.
