Job description Job Title: Software Development Engineer Role Overview: Software Engineers to contribute for the core design/development of components for Hybrid/On-prem Web Protection. About the role : Own, and maintain high-quality code for the Web Gateway Hybrid and On-Prem solutions . Write code as per product requirements Should be able to drive end-to-end ownership of features/functions and modulesincluding development,testing and automation of functional and non-functional. Should be able to come up with innovative ideas to solve product problems. Should be able to analyze customer issues and provideresolution/workaround. Ability to understand/develop/enhance in Cloud/Hybrid architecture. Identifies, recommends, coordinates, deliver timely knowledge to the teams regarding technologies, processes, and tools. Recognize the big picture and take initiative to solve the problem and improve design. About you : Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science with 7-13 years of professional work experience. Strong experience in object-oriented programming with C++ - mandatory skill 4+ years of development experience on Linux is mandatory. Project experience in developing complex multi-threaded applications. Experience with Docker or cloud deployment technologies Excellent knowledge of common Internet protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SSL) Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating system (Windows : Basic, Linux : in-depth) Development experience with Cloud/SaaS deployments is strongly desired Candidates with prior experience in developing software for security/networking products will be preferred. Should have excellent debugging, troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills. Good verbal and written communication in English. Working experience with JIRA/GIT is desired.
