Software Development Engineer

As a Software Development Engineer at McCain Foods(India) P Ltd, you will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support business operations and enhance user experience. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with senior developers to design and implement new features, troubleshooting and debugging issues in existing software, participating in code reviews, and contributing to team knowledge sharing. Additionally, you will be involved in creating and maintaining documentation for software applications, continuously learning and applying new programming techniques and technologies, assisting in the development and optimization of machine learning models, analyzing large datasets to extract insights and trends, and developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights into business performance. You will also ensure network security and compliance with industry standards, work with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and solutions, monitor and respond to security incidents to protect company data and systems from threats. The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++, knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis tools such as SQL, understanding of network protocols and security measures, and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus. The candidate should also have enthusiasm for learning innovative technologies and methodologies, strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and people skills to effectively interact with team members.
