Software Development Engineer at A FinTech Company

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and fault-tolerant microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build high-performance systems for financial transactions.
• Own services from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
• Optimize database queries, JVM performance, caching, and memory usage.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and QA teams.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and security best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in REST APIs, microservices, design patterns, and OOP.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and JVM internals.
• Proficiency in Git, Maven/Gradle, and production monitoring.
• Knowledge of JWT, OAuth2, and security standards.
