Software Application Engineer

As a Developer Portal Developer for Prism, you will collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to design and develop a user-friendly developer portal. Your responsibilities will include working on various integrations, enhancing templates to integrate third-party products, testing and debugging portal workflows, and ensuring that the portal meets the requirements of both internal and external users. Additionally, you will be expected to suggest improvements, establish best practices, and work with the team to create relevant content for the portal. To be successful in this role, you should have 6-8 years of experience in developer experience and developer portal related areas. Proficiency in developer portal tools such as MS APIM, Backstage.io, or Cortex is required. You should also have experience working with full-stack frameworks for web development and possess an understanding of Web API first design approach. Experience in creating APIs for external applications and consuming third-party APIs is advantageous. Knowledge of Python/Django, various Single Sign-On providers and protocols, as well as experience in Agile Scrum environments are beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field are essential. Previous experience in or contributions to open source projects would be a plus.,
