Job Description

Role Overview: As a skilled Snowflake Developer with 7 to 9 years of experience, you will join the data engineering team at Tietoevry. Your primary responsibility will be designing and building scalable data pipelines, developing Snowpark-based data applications, and enabling advanced analytics solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines using Snowflake SQL, Python, and Snowpark. - Utilize Snowpark (Python API) to create data engineering and data science workflows within the Snowflake environment. - Conduct advanced data transformation, modeling, and optimization to support business reporting and analytics. - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to facilitate machine learning and AI use cases on Snowflake. - Optimize queries and warehouse usage for cost and performance efficiency. - Use Azure data services for data ingestion, orchestration, and observability. - Implement best practices for data governance, security, and data quality within Snowflake. Qualification Required: - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake development and administration. - Proficiency in SQL for complex queries, data modeling, and transformations. - Strong command of Python, particularly in data engineering and Snowpark usage. - Experience with Snowpark for building data pipelines or analytics applications. - Understanding of data warehouse architecture, ELT/ETL processes, and cloud data platforms. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
