Job Description

We are scouting a highly skilled Snowflake Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data modelling and solution architecture, with a p track record of implementing Snowflakes. The role requires close collaboration with customers and development teams to design and deliver data solutions that meet business goals. Key Responsibilities : Act as a subject matter expert on Snowflake technology, guiding teams and stakeholders on best practices and optimal implementations. Work closely with customers to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective Snowflake-based solutions. Collaborate with development teams to ensure the solution design is clearly communicated and implemented accurately. Define and develop Snowflake models, complete with comprehensive documentation. Participate in agile sprints (both internal and customer-facing) to ensure efficient and timely delivery. Create repeatable processes and maintain up-to-date documentation for Snowflake implementations. Implement best practices for Snowflake, including performance optimization, cost management, and scalability. Understand and execute RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and data sharing methodologies within Snowflake. Ensure seamless data migration from other databases to Snowflake. Provide domain expertise in manufacturing, retail, or telecom industries to enhance solution relevance and effectiveness. Key Skills and Qualifications: Experience : 5-8 years in data modelling and solution architecture. At least 2 years of architecture experience on Snowflake. 2-3 years of architecture experience with other databases. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Snowflake concepts such as Snowpipe, Snowpark, and Snowflake Warehouse. Knowledge of Data Vault methodologies and Data Warehouse concepts. Hands-on experience in data migration from other databases to Snowflake. Understanding of RBAC and data-sharing mechanisms in Snowflake. Certifications : Snowflake Architect certification is a plus. Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing, retail, or telecom domains is preferred. Soft Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
