As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of our products. You will work closely with customers to identify their needs, provide technical solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of our products covering the range of Seal-less Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps, Drum Pumps, Air Operated Double Diaphragm Pumps, Electric Dosing Pumps, Chemical Filtration Systems, Gear Pumps, & Sealed Centrifugal Pumps etc. Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions using Finish Thompsons product line. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits. Provide technical support and advice to customers regarding product selection, installation, and operation. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to address technical queries and customize solutions. Stay current with industry trends and product developments to offer informed recommendations. Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through various channels. Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and sales presentations. Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and implementation of products. Oversee the post-sales process, including installation, training, and support. Resolve any issues or concerns that arise during and after the sales process. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies. Provide insights and recommendations for product improvements and new product development. Qualifications: Education: Diploma/Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical or a related field. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales or a similar role within the industrial pump sector. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of fluid handling systems, pumps, and mixers. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing customer needs. Travel: Minimum 15-20 Days Travel required at customer sites and industry events. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance related to Chemical handling equipment, specifically Sealed/Seal-less Centrifugal Pumps, Barrel Pumps and AODD Pumps.
