Role Overview: As a SMAW & MIG welder at our company in New Delhi, you will be responsible for performing Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding tasks. Your day-to-day duties will involve interpreting blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts, executing welding procedures, ensuring proper machine setup, monitoring weld quality, and maintaining safety standards in the work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding tasks - Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for layout planning - Execute welding procedures with precision and accuracy - Ensure proper setup of welding machinery and maintain them - Monitor the quality of welds to meet standards - Uphold welding safety standards and protocols - Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team - Possess relevant certifications in welding techniques (advantageous) Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in SMAW and MIG welding techniques - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications - Knowledge of welding safety standards and protocols - Experience with welding machinery setup and maintenance - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Capability to work independently and as part of a team - Previous experience in a similar role is preferred,
