About the Role As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing UGC/Performance video ads for brands across beauty, health, lifestyle, fashion and more. You will work closely with the creative copywriters and production team to bring scripts and raw footage to life in a way that is visually engaging, platform-native, and drives conversions. Key Responsibilities Assemble raw footage and input sound, graphics, and effects that elevate the storytelling and improve scroll-stopping potential. Add music, captions, transitions, stock footage, and overlays that enhance visual interest while keeping within the brand guidelines. Work on multiple edit versions of a single ad to test performance across hooks, visuals, or CTAs. Use editing software and AI tools to reduce turnaround time while maintaining output quality. Work closely with creative strategists to understand creative direction and incorporate feedback. Deliver projects on tight timelines while maintaining high attention to detail. Your role will involve providing pre-production support by assisting in prop sourcing, purchasing, and organization for upcoming shoots, as well as researching and reaching out to potential creators, models, and talent for casting. Additionally, you will support location scouting and booking coordination, and maintain an organized inventory of props, equipment, and production materials. During on-set assistance, you will be responsible for helping the production crew with lighting setup, equipment handling, and set preparation. You will also support on-set coordination to ensure a smooth workflow during shoots, help direct hand-modeling and product shots under supervision, and assist with talent coordination and on-set management. In terms of production coordination, you will act as a liaison between pre-production, production, and post-production teams. You will assist with scheduling shoots, talent, and equipment bookings, as well as help with basic administrative tasks related to production workflows. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is fascinated by content creation and digital marketing, enjoys working on set, has a natural eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling, and loves collaborating with people.
