Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related equipment. Perform system upgrades, replacements, and expansions as needed. Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera locations and cable routes. Connect and terminate cables (coaxial, CAT5/CAT6) and ensure secure connections. Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues including video loss, connectivity failures, and hardware malfunctions. Configure DVR/NVR settings including IP address setup, remote viewing, and data storage management. Provide end-user training on system operation and remote monitoring. Maintain documentation for installations, service calls, and maintenance activities. Ensure systems are installed according to technical standards and client requirements. Respond to service requests and perform preventive maintenance checks. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance, including DVR and NVR systems. Strong knowledge of camera types, recording devices, networking, and cabling. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site layouts. Familiarity with IP addressing, port forwarding, and remote access configurations. Basic knowledge of electrical connections and safety protocols. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Work Environment: On-site installations and maintenance visits. Working at heights, using ladders, and handling power tools as needed.
