End-to-End Hardware Development - Design schematics and multilayer PCBs (Altium/OrCAD) for modular locker electronics, including master/slave configurations. Component & Architecture Selection - Select low-power MCUs, lock drivers, sensors (e.g., door state, tamper), BLE/Wi-Fi/LTE modules. Prototyping, Bring-Up & Validation - Assemble prototypes; conduct functional, thermal, EMI/EMC testing; validate locking/unlocking mechanisms. Connectivity & OTA - Integrate and validate BLE, Wi-Fi or optional LTE for device communication, diagnostics, and OTA firmware updates (FUOTA ready). Firmware-Hardware Sync - Work with firmware/embedded engineers to support driver integration (BLE, locks, sensors), optimize power modes, and enable secure remote access. Power Design - Design and test power modules (12V DC from AC input, with backup/battery), ensuring safety, efficiency, and scalability across locker network. Compliance & Safety - Prepare for CE, FCC, RoHS, UL certifications; ensure safety in electro-mechanical integration. Manufacturability & Assembly - Design with production and on-site deployment in mind ease of assembly, enclosure fit, and field maintainability. Documentation & Control - Maintain design records, test logs, change tracking; use Git/SVN for version control. Wireless Connectivity : Implement and validate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interfaces for mobile-device pairing, diagnostics, and OTA firmware updates. HMI Integration: Specify requirements and collaborate on capacitive touchscreen/interface design; ensure durability and responsiveness in locker environments. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with mechanical, industrial-design, and software teams to align enclosure constraints, UI requirements, and system-level testing.
