Job Title: Area Sales Manager Affordable Home Loans Location: Bangalore , Mumbai, Pune Department: Sales Home Loans Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Head Experience Required: 58 years in Home Loan Sales (preferably in Affordable Housing segment) Job Purpose: To drive and manage sales activities for affordable home loan products within a defined geographical area. The ASM will lead a team of sales officers, ensure achievement of business targets, maintain relationships with channel partners, and ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development: Generate business for affordable home loan products through DSAs, connectors, builders , and direct sourcing . Identify and tap new markets, geographies, and customer segments. Develop strategic plans to increase business volumes in line with organizational targets. 2. Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead a team of Sales Officers / Executives. Monitor team performance against KPIs and provide guidance and motivation. Conduct regular field visits and ensure team productivity. 3. Channel & Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with DSAs, builders, and real estate agents . Ensure timely payouts and resolution of issues to retain channel loyalty. 4. Credit & Risk Coordination: Coordinate with the credit team for smooth processing of files. Ensure quality sourcing by pre-screening applications to reduce rejection and delinquency rates. 5. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all applications comply with company policies, credit norms , and regulatory guidelines . Supervise documentation and disbursal process. 6. Market Intelligence: Keep track of competitor activities, pricing, and market trends. Provide feedback to management for pricing and product enhancements. Key Requirements: Education: Graduate/MBA (preferred) Experience: 5+ years in home loan / affordable housing finance ; minimum 2 years in a team-leading role. Knowledge: Local market knowledge, understanding of credit appraisal for salaried and self-employed customers.
