About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Quality Control/Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. In this role, you will design and execute test scenarios, conduct various types of testing, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Translate business and technical requirements into detailed test strategies, traceability matrices, and test scenarios. Design, execute, and maintain test cases across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and APIs . Develop and drive sprint-specific QA plans, UAT scenarios, and release demos. Perform multiple testing types, including SIT , UAT , regression, performance, penetration, and compatibility. Report, track, and prioritize issues using tools like JIRA with X-Ray . Collaborate closely with development teams to investigate, reproduce, and resolve reported issues. Contribute to automation initiatives using Selenium, REST Assured, TestNG, Maven, or similar frameworks. Validate backend processes with SQL queries and database checks. Advocate for quality-first culture within Agile Scrum ceremonies. Mentor and coach junior QA engineers to raise the team’s capability. Qualifications: 4+ years of software testing experience (manual or hybrid). Strong understanding of software testing process and frameworks. Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile testing . Proven experience in test strategy, test planning, test execution, and defect management . Hands-on experience testing web applications, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and APIs . Familiarity with tools like JIRA and X-Ray plugin Exposure to test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, REST Assured, TestNG, Maven). Working knowledge of SQL for backend data validation. Mentor and guide junior test engineers. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile Scrum methodologies. Proficient in writing detailed test plans and test cases. Knowledge of testing areas such as automation, security, and performance.
