Role & responsibilities Lead the design team and development of mechanical systems and structures.Use Solidwork software to create 2D/3D models and detailed drawings.Perform engineering calculations for strength, load and other analysis.Select materials and components for mechanical assemblies.Ensure manufacturability, assembly feasibility and maintenance accessibility.Design, develop and integrate control systems for machinery and automation.Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards.Troubleshoot and optimize control systems for efficiency and reliability.Coordinate electrical and mechanical designs for seamless system integration.Perform prototype testing, validation and troubleshooting.Work closely with production and quality teams to resolve design issues.Optimize designs for cost, reliability and ease of maintenance.Assign tasks, monitor progress and ensure project milestones are met.Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project updates, challenges and solutions.Provide training and guidance to enhance team skills and performance.Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality and Procurement.
