Key Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for automotive components, raw materials, and indirect materials. Implement cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, alternate sourcing, and supplier negotiations. Support localisation and vendor development initiatives. Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, and service metrics. Procurement & Negotiation Lead in negotiation. Prepare and finalise annual rate contracts, long-term agreements, and service-level agreements. Analyse cost structures and market trends to ensure competitive pricing. Cross-functional Collaboration Work with R&D, Production, and Quality teams for new product development sourcing. Ensure timely availability of components during product launches and engineering changes. Collaborate with finance to ensure adherence to budget and payment terms. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards. Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Support sustainability and ESG-related sourcing initiatives.
1. Monitor and inspect the production process to ensure compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulations. 2. Identify, document, and analyse process non-conformities and recommend corrective actions. 3. Conduct in-process audits, first piece approvals, patrol inspections, and end-of-line checks. 4. Work with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Engineering) to resolve quality issues in real-time. 5. Role & responsibilities : Conduct final visual and dimensional inspection of products using gauges, instruments, and checklists. Verify product compliance as per drawings, SOPs, and inspection standards. Record inspection results accurately in inspection reports/LSL-USL sheets. Identify and segregate non-conforming products and inform QC/Production immediately. Ensure proper tagging, marking, and traceability of inspected lots. Follow control plans, sampling plans, and customer-specific requirements. Maintain 5S, safety, and cleanliness in the inspection area. Support in final audits, customer audits, and internal quality checks. Handle and maintain gauges, instruments, and measuring devices in good condition. Participate in quality improvement activities and raise suggestions for defect prevention. Preferred candidate profile : Qualification: ITI / Diploma / 12th Pass with experience in quality inspection. Shifts: Should be able to work in rotational shifts.
