Our Global Knowledge Center (GKC) for Research and Development in Gurgaon, India provides professional services in Licensing Advisory, Software Asset Management (SAM), and Solution Consulting. Role Description This is an Business Development Manager role with a minimum of 7-10 years related (Inside Sales) experience, having dealt with small to large customers which have large and complex IT infrastructure. We are looking for someone who will set up the Inside Sales engine for us from scratch. You will be the go-to Leader for building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing inside sales team to generate new and expansion of revenue streams through meticulous planning and execution of lead generation, prospecting, setting up benchmarks to ensure consistent and steady flow of leads which lead to closures. You will develop and execute sales strategies through new and out of box key measurement criterion for sales opportunities and to develop and execute account plan to drive continuous sales with key existing customers and develop new accounts and sales. Skills and Experience Set up a clear, measurable process for consistent, predictable, and steady flow of lead generations around the organization practices of Security, Hardware and Networking, Advisory, SAM and other upcoming new practices. Conduct inside sales activities, including prospecting and developing opportunities. Conduct weekly 1:1’s, opportunity inspection reviews and career development sessions for the team Providing strategic guidance while focusing on quantitative results Hiring and training a high-performing sales team Plan a skilling model which constantly helps the Inside Sales teams to scale and be updated on technology landscapes. Ensuring quotas are consistently achieved by directing the sales process and experimenting with strategies to improve close ratios. Providing tools and benchmarks by which the sales team can measure and improve their performance Generating more opportunities for our pipeline and improving our growth rate. Keeping company leadership apprised of market activity and trends, including new technology/platforms that could empower the sales team. Managing high-profile accounts and closing key opportunities. Growing new team members and ensuring a high level of acumen for new products by training at all levels. Assist in the development of sales training materials. Help create and improve email templates and sequences. Work closely with Sales Operations to recommend process improvements. Set a vision and clear expectations for the team. You will have a collaborative attitude and be adept at working cohesively with your ecosystem such as Pre-Sales, Product Sales, Product Management, R&D, Legal, Services, Channels etc. You will have strong Account Management skills with the ability to do territory planning, account research, relationship building at multiple levels within a single customer, whitespace analysis and so on.
