Silicon Parametric Extraction & Component Debug Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for individuals with 5 to 15 years of experience in Silicon characterization or silicon validation. The ideal candidate should have expertise in PnP characterization of SoC, PLL, Oscillators, etc., along with firmware development on multi-core microcontrollers or processors such as ARM/RISC-V. Additionally, experience working in a laboratory environment and familiarity with using lab equipment like logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc., is required. Candidates should possess knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals including CMOS device operation and characteristics, a good understanding of semiconductor technology, solid-state device physics, and submicron FET architectures. Proficiency in Python scripting and exposure to automated characterization flows to maximize the use of equipment are also expected. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, self-confident, self-driven, self-learning, and always striving for excellence, with good analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience or a PhD with 1+ year of experience in the same fields will also be considered.
