A Lift Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of lift systems. They ensure the safe and efficient operation of lifts, escalators, and moving walkways. The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, adherence to safety standards and excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: 1. Installation: - Install new lift systems, including elevators, escalators, and moving walkways, according to manufacturer specifications and safety regulations. - Assemble, install, and wire electrical control systems and connect power supplies. 2. Maintenance and Repair: - Perform routine maintenance to ensure lift systems are functioning correctly and safely. - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in lift systems. - Replace defective parts, such as cables, bearings, and gears, and perform adjustments to ensure smooth operation. 3. Experience : 2-6 years of hands-on experience in lift installation, maintenance, and repair.
