Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development professional to lead and expand our business in Solar and Infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in handling enterprise-level clients, government tenders, and corporate projects. The role involves extensive client interaction, project acquisition, and travel across regions to develop new opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in Solar EPC, Infrastructure, and Turnkey projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, consultants, and government departments. Manage end-to-end business development cycle — from lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closure. Understand client requirements, site feasibility, and coordinate with technical teams for proposal development. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects/tenders. Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and networking events. Prepare presentations, business proposals, and project reports for management review. Collaborate with design, estimation, and execution teams to ensure seamless project handover post-sales. Maintain regular MIS reports and sales forecasts. Willingness to travel frequently across region for client meetings and project discussions. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Civil / Mechanical preferred) or Business Administration. Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development within Solar EPC / Infrastructure / Renewable Energy sectors. Strong network within corporate clients, developers, and government bodies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value. Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with extensive travel. Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and tendering platforms. Preferred Attributes: Experience in large-scale solar (rooftop or ground-mounted) and infrastructure (industrial, commercial, or government) projects. Understanding of policy frameworks, subsidy mechanisms, and tender documentation. Proven record of successful project acquisition and revenue growth.
